From request to launch
Most engagements follow the same four stages, whatever the channel.
- Request and scoping: you send the form, the service partner asks follow-up questions and you agree a written scope and quote.
- Access and audit: you add the partner as a user on your ad, analytics and tag accounts, and they check what is already set up.
- Build: campaigns, landing pages, forms and conversion tracking are prepared, and you approve copy and pages before anything goes live.
- Launch: tracking is tested with real form fills, campaigns are switched on and the first report date is set.
Information the partner will ask for
Expect questions along these lines.
- Which channels you want: search, social or both
- The ad accounts you own, and the email addresses that administer them
- Landing pages you have now, and whether they can be edited
- What counts as an inquiry for you: form, call, chat or booked meeting
- The CRM you use, if any: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another
- Brand assets: logo, colors, photos and any approved wording
- Who on your side approves ads and pages
- The reporting cadence you want
Account ownership and access
Every ad account, pixel, tag container and analytics property should be registered to your business and stay there. The partner works inside them as an invited user. Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4 and Google Tag Manager all let you add users with a set role from their account settings. No passwords change hands. Billing stays on your card. If the arrangement ends, you remove their user access, and everything they built, including campaigns, audiences, conversion actions and history, stays where it is.
The first few weeks after go-live
Early spend tells you more about the setup than about the market. In the first weeks, the partner watches for search terms that do not fit, audiences that spend without converting, forms that fail on some devices and conversions that record twice. Expect a few rounds of adjustment. Ad platforms also need some data before their automated bidding settles, so snap judgments in this period are usually premature. After that, management moves to the regular cadence in your agreement, with reports and check-ins on a set schedule.
Tell us what you sell and which channels you want to run. A service partner will reply with a scope and a quote.
